Alright, this is a brilliant topic, I love this topic because it just shows how fun English can be. So, I'm going to explain 5 Phrasal Verbs that use an Animal + Preposition.

So, let's go with the 5 Phrasal Verbs that are also animals: 

No.1. Chicken Out
Now, the meaning of chicken out is that you... at the last minute, you don't do something because you are afraid. So, let's imagine that you are giving a big presentation in front of 2,000 people and you are very, very nervous about it and the last minute you say, "I can't do it! I'm not doing it! I can't do it! I chicken out". So you don't do it. You're too afraid. You are a chicken.. and you have chickened out!

No. 2. Horse around
If you horse around it means you are very active in a silly way. E.g. Hey listen to your father and stop horsing around! Horsing around. We normally tell children not to horse around, not to be silly, stop jumping on the sofa, stop fighting, stop horsing around!

No. 3. Fish For 
If you fish for something you're indirectly looking for information. You're fishing for clues, e.g. Oooh i'm not where my colleague has been for the past 2 weeks but I'm fishing for information from the boss. You might also fish for compliments. If you're trying to give indirect comments to somebody to encourage them to compliment you then you fish for compliments. Fish For!

No. 4. Rabbit On 
What a wonderful phrasal verb: Rabbit On! If you rabbit on... what does a rabbit do? Ok, constantly Mimimimi... If you rabbit on, you never stop talking! You talk and talk and talk...E.g. I'm sorry I'm late but I was speaking to the neighbor and she was rabbitting on and I could not escape she was rabbitting on. She always rabbits on, my neighbour... She rabbits on.  

No. 5. Pig Out 
If you pig out it means you eat a lot of a certain food. You could say, "This Friday we're going to get a movie, have my friends over and we're going to pig out on pizza and ice cream. I love pigging out on pizza. I love Pizza. And I always pig out on pizza. Pig out!
